Eritrean refugees hostage in the desert of Sinai: Press Release

Mrs. MEKHEMAR ALY HAMADA, AMBASSADOR OFTHE ARAB REPUBLIC OF EGYPT TO THE HOLY SEE. A questo incontro hanno preso parte Don Mussie Zerai, Presidente dell'Agenzia Habeshia, l'On. Savino Pezzotta Presidente del Consiglio Italiano Per Rifugiati (CIR). La delegazione stata ricevuta da S.E. La Signora ALY HAMADA MEKHEMAR, AMBASCIATORE DELLA REPUBBLICA ARABA D'EGITTO PRESSO LA SANTA SEDE. L'Ambasciatrice ha ribadito che fino a questo momento non hanno trovato queste persone, che le ricerche continueranno, ha raccolto le informazioni che erano in possesso della delegazione ricevuta, Don Mussie Zerai, ha comunicato tutte le informazione in suo possesso verbalmente, anche via e-mail all'Ambasciata Egiziana presso la Santa Sede. La Signora Ambasciatrice, assicurato che sarà riferito alle autorità egiziane, per contribuire alla ricerca dei ostaggi nel deserto del Sinai. Riconoscendo che si tratta di una Emergenza Umanitaria, ha detto che il suo governo farà tutto il possibile per trovarli e liberarli. La delegazione ha fatto presente che una volta liberate queste persone non vengano deportate verso il paese di origine, ma che vengano affidate all'UNHCR. In oltre l'Ambasciatrice ha sottolineato chi si prenderà incarico queste persone una volta liberate? L'Europa e disponibile ad accogliere queste persone?
